Canflax is revitalizing the flax industry in Canada. This huge undertaking spans sectors, from government, to farming, to machinery and textile production. The goal was to create a website that is easy to navigate, speaks to industry professionals, and walks the fine line between heritage and innovation. The project is at the forefront of sustainable textile innovation, and just won the mmode montreal awards for innovation in textiles.
I emphasized the beautiful images of flax fields and crop, and hand-drew the flax plant and tools to add warmth communicate the artisan element of the company.
I wrote copy that communicates the big picture mission of Canflax, and their impact across industries.
